- En la vaporera lista con agua hirviendo con un poco de sal y hojas de tamal en la base de la rejilla, colocar los tamalitos acomodándolos en forma vertical para asegurar una mejor cocción. Cubrir con más hojas de tamal y colocar la tapa. (Yo usé vaporera eléctrica)
- Después de aproximadamente hora y media de cocción, sacar un tamal de la olla, desenvolverlo y verificar que la masa se desprenda de la hoja.
